St Louis Art Museum

The St Louis Art Museum is one of the many attractions in Forest Park. It is one of the leading comprehensive art museums in the US & contains over 30,000 works of art. The collections include Oceanic art, pre-Columbian art, ancient Chinese bronzes, European & American art of the late 19th & 20th centuries including 20th century German painting. The collection of Modern art covers more than 150 years of European painting & sculpture & includes paintings by Gustave Courbet, Henri Fantin-Latour, Edouard Manet, & Paul Cézanne, as well as Impressionist & Post-Impressionist masterworks by Claude Monet, Edgar Degas, Paul Gauguin, & Vincent van Gogh.
