Beth's Birthday

This year, Beth wanted a roller skating Birthday party, so we booked a private party session at the local roller-skating rink. We had been to this rink before & it seemed more relaxed than some of the other roller-skating rinks in the area, for example, letting parents walk on the skating area to help their children & not making an issue about what people wear (one rink we went to stopped a parent from skating & made them take their hat off as one of their rules was no hats!). Beth had a great time & had invited lots of friends who also seemed to be having fun, but this meant that it took Beth longer to open her Birthday presents that the rink had allowed for, so they kept pushing Beth to speed up with her presents (which was a shame). Other than this, the party was great fun & Beth really enjoyed herself, which was by far the most important thing!
