Cheetah Girls - One World Tour

Occasionally, I am lucky enough to get tickets for the work's box at the Scottrade Centre (although I had been really lucky of late & managed to get tickets to see the circus & now The Cheetah Girls). The Cheetah Girls are a girl-band created by Disney & were made famous by the movie of the same name & their subsequent movies 'The Cheetah Girls 2' & 'The Cheetah Girls - One World' (the latter film being the basis for this concert). In addition to singing & making films, the group also has a line of clothing, a perfume collection, toy dolls, room decor, books, & video games. So far, they have grossed over $30 million from touring & $20 million from merchandise!

The Clique Girlz were the opening act & they are, apparently, the youngest Disney international act. They had a couple of catchy songs, but to be honest, their singing wasn't really that good (more like shouting). However, on the CD that Beth bought they sounded pretty good & they have opened for some fairly famous acts such as Billy Ray Cirus, the Jonas Brothers, Drake Bell, & Demi Lovato, so I guess they can't be that bad (although the band has subsequently split due to 'personal issues' & reformed as a duo).
